November 10, 2023 – Pittstown, New Jersey – America’s Grow-a-Row announced today they have distributed twenty million pounds of produce since their founding in 2002. In 2023 alone, America’s Grow-a-Row harvested and distributed more than two million pounds of produce – or eight million meals – for people facing hunger.

Twenty-one years in the making, this milestone certainly wasn’t achieved alone. Great people came together physically in the fields and financially to support our organization, but more importantly, to help those people who need it the most. We look forward to another 20 million pounds.”
America’s Grow-a-Row reached this new milestone by harvesting produce across four farm locations in Hunterdon County and gleaning produce from farms and supermarkets. This year, America’s Grow-a-Row planted and harvested approximately twenty varieties of produce including apples, corn, cucumbers, peaches, squash, bell peppers, eggplants, and tomatoes by nearly 10,000 volunteers. America’s Grow-a-Row’s increased gleaning efforts rescued and delivered produce to food pantries throughout the Garden State that would have otherwise been discarded.
