America’s Grow-a-Row Receives Grant from the Provident Bank Foundation

Pittstown, NJ August 26, 2024 – The Provident Bank Foundation has generously awarded America’s Grow-a-Row a grant of $20,000 to support its Fresh Produce Initiative. As a result of this funding, 892 people will be positively impacted and receive a serving of produce every day over our 16-week harvest season.

America’s Grow-a-Row is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity by growing and gleaning fresh, healthy produce that is then donated to food banks, pantries, and other organizations serving vulnerable populations. Since its inception, America’s Grow-a-Row has received steadfast support from the Provident Bank Foundation, which has now contributed a total of $87,500 in grants since 2012.

“We are immensely grateful to the Provident Bank Foundation for their continued support and commitment to our mission,” said Chip Paillex, Founder and President of America’s Grow-a-Row. “This $20,000 grant will enable us to significantly expand our efforts to provide fresh produce to those who need it most, ensuring that hundreds of individuals receive nutritious meals every day.”

The Fresh Produce Initiative not only addresses immediate food needs but also promotes healthier lifestyles among community members who may otherwise lack access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Through collaborative efforts with volunteers and community partners, America’s Grow-a-Row remains dedicated to making a meaningful impact on food insecurity.

“We are proud to support America’s Grow-a-Row in their tireless efforts to combat hunger and promote wellness within our communities,” said Samantha Plotino, Executive Director of the Provident Bank Foundation. “This grant underscores our ongoing commitment to organizations that make a profound difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.”
