Meredith and Jeremy Compton

Meredith and Jeremy Compton
Meredith and Jeremy Compton own Peaceful Valley Orchards, the home of America’s Grow-a-Row. The Comptons have opened their farm to this program willingly and generously. They often have 50-75 volunteers traipsing all over their property and they welcome them warmly. They give up revenue-producing land and give it to us to use for growing donated produce. They provide weekly invitations during the summer to glean excess produce. Most impressively, they are constantly providing seedlings, supplies, fertilizer, labor, and use of equipment to America’s Grow-a-Row. The Comptons are staunch advocates for the program and for feeding the hungry. They use their connections in the farming community to encourage other farmers to be a part of the effort to help stop hunger. They are shining examples of generosity and a beacon to the community about the importance of giving back. The Comptons never hesitate to give what they have, expecting nothing in return. It is in large part due to their dedication, selfless nature and reliable generosity that America’s Grow-a-Row has achieved the phenomenal success that it has since its inception. We are deeply grateful to Meredith and Jeremy and encourage everyone to visit their farmstand at Peaceful Valley Orchards for delicious Jersey Fresh produce and yummy baked goods. Thank you, Meredith and Jeremy! (Photo DSC_0004 Chip, Kyra, Meredith and Jeremy under sign – same photo as front page) also include link to www.peacefulvalleyorchards.com
We thank the following folks for their very generous support of America’s Grow-a-Row in 2009:
Families and Individuals
Many thanks to the families that provide generous donations to our efforts to feed the hungry. Families and volunteers are at the core of our mission, and without their financial support and “sweat equity” we could not do what we do. You are the best!

This program began as a mission project of the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church. While it has grown beyond that, we never forget our “roots” and are deeply grateful to BPC and all of the faith-based organizations – of all different faiths – that provide funding, volunteers, prayers, and moral support for this work.
