We are inside for the winter!  Although it was a tough growing season, we gleaned a lot of apples in the fall.  Our work is pretty much done until planting in the spring.  You’ll start seeing opportunities to volunteer in April/May so watch this space.  In the meantime, thanks to all of you who helped and those that are interested in getting involved.

Please Note: Dates for individual picking sessions at Peaceful Valley Orchards and other area farms are announced via e-mail, usually 3-4 days before the scheduled event.  If you would like to be included on the e-mail distribution list, please send a note to chip@americasgrowarow.org.

Upcoming Activities:

February 6th, 2010 – Zumba “Fun-Raiser” at Ludo’s Ballroom in Whitehouse, NJ.  Come shake, groove, and rock out – all for a good cause!  Only $20 pp in advance, $25 at the door.

February 6th, 2010 – Hearts for the Hungry Valentine making day – make special valentines for your friends and family, and also for those in need at Vienna United Methodist Church in Vienna, NJ.

March 20th, 2010 – Blue Jean Bash “Fun-raiser” for America’s Grow a Row, 7:30pm at Peaceful Valley Orchards.  Adults only.  Dress code is warm, fun, casual – the event will be held inside the farm stand.  Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind event.
